NURTW Officials Chase Driver Of 18-seater Bus To Death In Ibadan (see photos)
One individual kicked the bucket Sunday evening when a 18-seater-transport being pursued by the authorities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers smashed along Iwo street - Toll Gate turnpike. The NURTW authorities professedly pursued the business transport for picking travelers at unapproved place.
Two travelers who were among those that survived the accident said the vehicle union individuals, riding in a vehicle with NURTW composed on its body, crushed the windscreen of the transport and tossed a tire in its direction, making the driver to lose control and the vehicle summersaulted, as it went up on fire.
The travelers were fortunate to escape with the assistance of individuals around the scene. Unfortunatley, the driver, who was caught under transport was however smoldered to the point of being indistinguishable.
His remaining parts were cleared by authorities of the Toll Gate Unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Oyo State Sector.
