Boko Haram Launches Fresh Attack, Kills Four Women
Boko Haram has launched new assault in a remote town in Nigeria's upper east, killing four ladies in the most recent assault by the Islamist bunch, nearby vigilantes helping the military said on Saturday.
Fourteen Boko Haram shooters on seven cruisers raged Mairari town, 80 kilometers from Maiduguri, the state capital late Friday and picked four ladies from their homes and opening their throats, they said. The ladies were matured somewhere around 27 and 45.
"They went into four homes while occupants were breaking their quick around 7:00 pm, drew out the four ladies and butchered them," Babakura Kolo, a vigilante in Maiduguri told AFP. "We trust the killings were focused on, the shooters were from all signs after the spouses of the ladies," he said.
"They murdered the ladies when they didn't discover their spouses". Another vigilante, Musa Ari gave a comparative record.
"The general feeling is that the ladies' spouses either declined to acknowledge Boko Haram's welcome to join their positions or the gathering associates them with passing data about them to the powers," Ari told AFP.
Boko Haram has been blamed for constraining inhabitants to join its contenders or get murdered.
